Driving Directions to Bell Buckle
(Because sometimes GPS is a big fat liar!)
For those of you who are coming in from out of town, there are several ways to get to Bell Buckle, and navigational systems are not always right on the money, so…
** If you are coming in from the Nashville direction, you will be driving East on I-24 towards Murfreesboro. Don’t let your GPS take you all the way down to Exit 89 off of I-24, that’s the long way in. Follow the directions into Murfreesboro, but get off at Exit 81-A. From there, you can go straight down Hwy 231 (Shelbyville Highway) for about 13 miles, then turn left onto Hwy 82 (Webb School Road) and go about 5 miles, which will bring you right into Bell Buckle. You can also take Exit 81-A, go straight down Hwy 231 (Shelbyville Highway) and take a left on Hwy 269, follow it all the way to Bell Buckle. It’s a scenic route, takes about the same amount of time, but be sure to follow the Hwy 269 signs, there’s a sneaky turn-off in there.
** If you are coming in from the Chattanooga direction, you will be driving West on I-24 towards Murfreesboro, and Exit 89 is the one you want. Follow the signs into Bell Buckle- and pay close attention to the 15 mph school zone when you drive past the Webb School, they take that seriously around here.
